Advertises as a Preferred Provider for our insurance. Checked with his office and our insurance and determined this was indeed the case. After the entire family was seen in his office, he billed us for the amount over what the insurance paid him. A substantial amount that added up to $100's. Contacted his office and then the insurance company. They contacted myself and his office and determined the total for all of us added to $87. He was told this was the amount we could be charged. Made no difference, he put us into the collection agency. Insurance Co. has worked with us for over two years. He will not comply and we are still in collections. Apparently he has to be taken to court at this point.
Told us he accepted our insurance. He did not and we ended up paying an outrageous cash amount.
Do not go there. The place does not have updated equipment and it's rundown. They have an old dental x-ray machine that doesn't even stay in place unless they hold it. When I spoke with Dr. Roma about options from my dental insurance for a filling, he lied and said resin was completely covered and it's not covered at all. My husband and I ended up losing $282 to this crook. If it had just been a mistake he should have dropped the cost when my dental insurance company called him to see if he could work with me. Also, good luck making an appointment because they NEVER answer the phone or call another number you leave. They never answered my calls when I questioned their charges either. Beware! I work in the veterinary field and I would not trust him with my dog.
Outdated equipment. Our cleaning consisted of his flossing our teeth.
He wouldn't do a thing for my wife or I.
Also, his answering machine answers every call and is so loud that the people calling are heard throughout the office. Those of us in the waiting area heard every private detail of everyone who called.
