Me and my grandparents bought a 2009 VW Beetle Convertible here only two weeks ago. First off they will not tell you the price, and you really do not ever feel like you got a good deal. However, we really loved the car until things started to go wrong with it. The first thing was the passenger window, with an unbelievable squeak. Royal did nothing, but was somewhat nice and offered us some tips. NOW, it is a sensor perhaps, and the transmission has to be looked at. AND, the nearest dealer is a good while away, AND, this is my only car. After getting the run around from Royal we eventually got an appointment set up at Gault, A HIGHLY Reputable VW and as well auto group/franchisee of other dealerships. However, I would have to leave my car on a Sunday night, over through Monday and perhaps longer. When I called Royal to request a loaner car, the service manager was not there. When I called the next day, he was short AND A BIT RUDE!!!! Sating at one point, "Well all you had to do was ask!!!" NEVER BUY A CAR FROM THESE SCUMBAGS! WE DROPPED 20500 ON THE TABLE AND THEY WILL TREAT YOU LIKE CRAP! Here is a list of dealers I recommend in the Southern Tier Area: Miller, Mathews, Maguire, Simmons-Rockwell, Williams Auto Group, Serafini, Scovo-Meno, and and of course Gault dealerships. NEVER, EVER, EVER, go to Royal, NOT FOR A PURCHASE, NOT FOR NEW, NOT FOR USED, NOT FOR SERVICE.
